AIOS Drive Sync

Privacy information

Prepared 13 October 2026. This describes a private desktop file-sync setup for the owner's accounts, not a public file-sync service.

Information used

The local rclone tool uses Google authorization credentials, file and folder names, identifiers, modification information, and file contents to compare and transfer files. The owner selects which folder is processed. Google authorization may allow broader Drive access than that selected folder.

Purpose and processing

Data is used to synchronize the owner's selected files between Google Drive and the owner's computer. Transfers communicate with Google's APIs. Downloaded files and sync state are kept locally; uploaded files are stored in the owner's Google Drive account. Other software or services the owner separately uses are outside this sync setup.

Sharing

This setup does not sell Drive data or use it for advertising. It has no public user registration or file-sharing service. Google processes data under its own terms and privacy policy. Enabling this setup does not by itself publish the owner's Drive files.

Storage and removal

Local credentials, file copies, and operational logs remain until the owner removes them or changes the setup. Logs may include file names and errors. The owner can stop synchronization and revoke the app's access in Google Account settings. Revoking access does not delete existing local or cloud file copies.
